Calling all Walsall Dinner Ladies!

Caroline Molloy is a photographer based at Caldmore Community Garden. She is making a small scale research project in Walsall that raises the visibility of dinner ladies – there is a family connection there, as her own grandmother was a dinner lady, too. She aims to share personal narratives and photographs about Walsall based Dinner Ladies.

She is looking for personal contact to start this research and is available on Wednesdays, and can either interview at the Caldmore Community Gardens (although times are restricted to opening times which are 10-4pm), in own homes or in a place of work. She is looking to conduct an interview, scan any photographs and at some point make a photo portrait.

If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch with Caroline on 07889 987 991, e-mail carolinemolloy@hotmail.com or message Caldmore Community Garden.

🌺Can you help us?🌺 Community Garden Consultation

We have started to ask local people – both those who have been to Caldmore Community Garden and those who haven’t yet – for their ideas for what they would like to see in the Garden. We have run creative consultation activities at our Indian Circus Day and will continue to engage our visitors and neighbours in the process – both online and offline.

Help us make the Garden – and the surrounding neighbourhood – a better place for everyone. You can do by filling in this survey, telling us your thoughts and ideas and sharing it with your friend and family.

If you haven’t done it, yet,
