Join us for Men’s Wellbeing Event at Caldmore Community Garden!
Saturday 27th April, 2-4pm
Organised by Caldmore Men’s Shed and Nash Dom CIC, the event is open to all men living in the local area.
There will be a BBQ, carpentry workshops, and social activities.
Free entry – no need to book in advance!
Come and join us for our annual
EASTER EGG HUNT at Caldmore Community Garden:
– 12.30pm and 3pm – Easter Egg Hunt for children aged 1-4 – have a go at finding chocolate eggs at the Garden!
Little ones must be accompanied by a grown-up, no older siblings allowed in the tots area. Please don’t be late!
– 1-3pm – Easter Egg Trail for older children – complete an Easter Egg trail, solve the clues and claim your chocolate egg! No need to come at a specific hour, your child can do it at any time during the event.
There will be lots of other activities, including:
Easter arts and crafts Children’s entertainment with Happy Child Tombola Face-painting Cake and drinks at our Community Cafe
It’s a Pay as You Feel event – we are a charity and need your support putting events like this for the benefit of the local community. Put some spare cash into a box or pay by card to help us bring you more activities in the future.

TIER 3:
We are delighted to tell you that will be re-starting our outdoor activities in groups of up to 6 from Thursday 3rd December.
Our Programme in December and January:
– Thursdays 10am – 2pm – join us for gardening activities!
– Mondays 10am – 12pm – Men’s Shed
– Tuesdays 10am – 12pm – Women’s Tuesdays
– Garden Saturdays – 11am – 2pm – family sessions, booking in advance requiered.
We are also open Monday – Friday 10-2pm if you just want to enjoy the Garden and use the playground.
Please remember to use the hand sanitiser, sign in using the NHS Track and Trace app OR a sign in sheet, keep 2 m distance from others, and please do not attend if you have any COVID-19.

Making Connections – Men’s Project
A brief for a suitably qualified self-employed sessional worker to work with older men, focussing particularly on the diverse communities of South Walsall.
Hours: Approximately 3-6 hours per week
(flexible by agreement up to a total of 110 hours over 6 months)
Rate: £20 per hour
Length of contract: 6 months
Total Fee available: £2200.00

Caldmore Men’s Shed
Come on down and find out what it is all about! We will be throwing the doors open on the Men’s Shed project in Caldmore Community Garden. We aim to fire up the wood fired pizza oven and making pizza for sharing in the great outdoors. We will be opening up the Shed and talking about the things we want to achieve as a group as well looking for your ideas for the project. Pizza and festive refreshment provided. Entrance free, everyone welcome, men and women alike all ages welcome. Come and find out what we are about.
