Led by Walsall artist Jane Clarke over the summer period of 2024
Over the summer, the garden was busy with bringing creativity to life with the incredible Walsall-based artist Jane Clarke!
From our Men’s Shed and Women’s Tuesday groups to our lovely Garden Saturdays and lively holiday play scheme groups, Jane has worked with our community to create some truly stunning paintings.
This project has been a wonderful way to bring people together, spark creativity, and celebrate the power of art in our everyday lives. It was made possible by the Inclusive Communities Fund and the help of The Reuse Hub in Wolverhampton.
The Reuse Hub is run by The Rebuild Site (CIC) and ASAN Wood Saints (charity), who divert surplus materials from construction sites and the supply chain to reduce waste and carbon emissions and support local communities by selling on discounted DIY materials, offering volunteer programmes and delivering skills workshops.

The workshops were funded through the Inclusive Communities Fund inspired by the momentum generated by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
