Easter Egg Hunt – 12th April 2025 12-4pm

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt Event this April at Caldmore Community Garden.

– 12:30pm and 3pm- Easter Egg Hunt for children aged 1-4 years old.

Little ones must be accompanied by a grown- up, no older siblings allowed in the tots area. Please don’t be late!

– 1pm to 3pm- Easter Egg Hunt Trail for older children-

Complete an Easter Egg Trail, solve the clues and claim your chocolate egg! No need to come at a specific hour, your child can do it at any time during the event.

– 2pm – Concert by Karolina Wegrzyn – Award winning polish folk singer and Multi instrumentalist.

There will be lots of other activities, including:

🥚Easter arts and crafts

🥚 Tombola

🥚Face- painting

🥚Cakes and drinks at our community Café.

It’s a Pay as you feel event- we are a charity and need your support putting events like this for the benefit of the local community. Put some spare cash into a box or pay by card to help us bring you more activities in the future.

– 1-3pm – Easter Egg Trail for older children – complete an Easter Egg trail, solve the clues and claim your chocolate egg! No need to come at a specific hour, your child can do it at any time during the event.

Easter Egg Hunt

Come and join us for a free Easter Egg Hunt event with two egg hunt zones – one for children under 5 and one for 5-12.

Come dressed up in your party dress and wear your Easter bonnet if you have one!

1pm Easter Egg Hunt for children – don’t be late!

There is only one hunt and it finishes within 15 minutes, so you’re going to miss it if you’re late.

Free Easter Holiday Activities for Children

Tuesday 6th – Saturday 10th April, 

12.00 – 3.00 pm

A mix of arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, and play. 

Activities will take place outdoors only (we will be under cover but please make sure to wear lots of layers and have wellies and waterproof clothing with you).

Due to Covid-19 activities will run in “bubbles” of up to 15 children.

You have to register for the whole week.

 ONLY FOR CHILDREN 8 – 12 YEARS OLD.

Lunch will be provided.

  • 1pm Easter Egg Hunt for children – bring a basket and come dressed up if you can
  • 12-3pm – Spring Craft Fair – meet some of the talented local crafters
  • Spring arts and crafts, gardening and family games

English Roots – Spring Open Fun Day in the Garden – Saturday 21st March

English Roots

Don’t miss our first open day of the year – English Roots – on Saturday 21st March, 12-4pm!
Programme:
– Bath Street Band
– Easter Egg Hunt
– Easter arts and crafts
– Easter walk in the garden
– quiz with prizes
– poetry reading with our writer in residence David Calcutt and other garden poets
– and delicious food!

Hopefully we will have first plants to sell, too.

The event is organised together with Bath Street Centre and is the first in the series of multicultural events funded by Near Neighbours.

It is also a part of national Big Dig Day!
